well, j. is going to the ballet with a friend tonight, and so i asked e. if she wanted a friend over. she and the friend conspired, however, to sleep at the friend's house, b/c she has a yard, and htey like to rake her leaves. (yeah, they're weird).
which means beloved and i have the night off. again. was it last week that we last had the night off? no, it was 2 weeks ago. we went out for dinner that night, but this time, i'm crying uncle. i want to just be home - just the two of us. i want to rest. we are going to watch a movie, and just CHILL (with a bit of assistance).
we don't get to sleep too late in the a.m., b/c e.'s soccer game is at 10, and I pick up the zipcar at 9, and we have to pick up at least one kid before the game (we're not going to the game if e. ain't playin'!). then we're taking the car to my school to empty out my locker (another stinky part of the quarter system), and then j.'s game is at 1, and her team is going out to ice cream afterward, and i have yet to settle on how we're doing that - e. may be getting together with another friend in the afternoon, so i'm not sure if we're all going out for ice cream or not. we'll see. but i do have the car until 5, b/c i'm just not sure what is going on.
Tonight, we chill. tomorrow, we run around like parents with our heads cut off. hopefully, some how, on sunday, e. and i both do school work all day while beloved runs around like a parent with HIS head cut off (not really, he just has to take j. to a bday party). e. has a science project to complete, and i have a tax outline to, uh, start.

I used to really like raking leaves. And then we moved someplace where the wind blew all the leaves away, and now I live in a second-floor apartment and would resent the time it takes...but it was fun when I was a kid.
