    cravings
I am really itching to get a night out with Beloved sometime in the foreseeable future. I was thinking of trying to get me a babysitter for this purpose, but then I remembered that the girls' father was thinking of coming to visit, since he didn't end up seeing the girls over their school vacation. It may not be an EVENING, but Beloved and I will get to go to a movie, and hopefully get a meal somewhere.

A lot of the movies that I've been wanting to see, though, are likely gone from the theaters. Like the Departed, and the Prestige, and Casino Royale. I want to see Volver, too, though, and I am pretty sure it will still be at our local theater next week.

Our local theater is a very cool art deco place that is actually run as a non-profit. They tend to stray toward the artsy (which is fine with us), and they're far from glitzy. Unfortunately, their seats aren't so comfortable. But I can deal for the sake of supporting our local business and cool theater.

I hope I get to go.

My darling and I saw Volver a couple of weeks ago. It was absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend it. I do not, however, recommend Pan's Labyrinth, but that complaining should be reserved for my blog!
