As I earlier shared, Beloved and I have been talking about getting married this Spring in Niagara Falls. We had been talking about doing it on 2/2, but due to the logistics of getting a marriage license in either Canada or NY, that isn't going to work. Also b/c of $$$. Stupid holidays.
Now we're looking at a traditional special day of ours - the Chinese New Year. It's an odd day for anniversary purposes, b/c it is not fixed on the calendar. This year, it is on 2/18. Next year, it's on some other day.
We're still planning on doing it in Niagara Falls, the NY side (Canada is difficult for us to get a license in, b/c of our divorces -- otherwise, it would have been pretty easy). It's the Sunday after my co-op ends, and before the girls' February vacation.
The girls will definitely be included. They most definitely want to be a part of it, as well as to go to Niagara Falls.
At some point in early February, I will take a day off of work, and Beloved and I will drive to NY to get our marriage license, and then, after I complete my co-op, we will fly to Buffalo, and go get married :)
