It's really unfortunate that I've been finding that this quarter, I work best in the law school library. Reason being that people in law school are really gross. I mean, a couple weeks ago, there was the gum chewer. Now there's this dude who has a cold, and is constantly coughing crap up, and moaning and groaning while breathing (mouth breathing, nonetheless), and just being generally disgusting. Really really disgusting. He wasn't here when I got here. Or else I would have sat elsewhere. Now I have papers and books strewn about my cubicle, and I don't want to get up and move just because he has a bug. Geez.

I used to study in my town's library. It's bigger, and things are a little less cozy. Also, I think people get less confused, thinking that they're actually in their living room - or perhaps even their bathroom - like they tend to do here in the law school library.

I am now at 1,000 words. I need 1500 more.

Yeah huh! It's the p.s. of the post previous to this one. I'm trying to write exams!!!

Although that didn't stop me from watching both nights :)

I'll top post about it later. I think I should pull out all my links from where I said, GO HOME MELINDA! I mean, I would have been happy if it happened 6 weeks ago ... but I'm still happy she's gone for the final.

I know they're trying to frame Jordin as the presumptive winner, but I'd actually be more likely to buy a Blake album (or download some of the songs, especially if he did some covers). Because he's either awesome or awful, but he's entertaining.

I told the fam the same thing on Tuesday. HIS album, I'll buy. I'd be just as likely to buy a Jordin album as I would a Mariah Carey album or a Celine Dion album ... which is NOT AT ALL. Even though I think she's great and I have a thing for her mouth. She has a great mouth, and fantastic teeth. Man, did she suck the nectar out of both her parents' genes!

and really, Melinda did give me chills with her Tina Turner song. But like Beloved said -- she likely won't sing that style on her own album.

She'll probably do gospel or something. Something about sins and jesus and stuff like that. Which guarantees I won't buy it.
