I hate when these lecturer say, "Just remember this: [insert clever memory device]."
Just? Just?
I mean, are they not aware that we have people saying that to us every day? And that they've already said it 100 times on this day? How much "just remember this"s can we hear?
Yeah, sure, if this were a normal exercise in learning something, I could tell you what M.I.L.D. stands for. But since I'm busy remember M.I.M.I.C., and busy memorizing the 70000000 charts I'm giving as "aids," M.I.L.D. just became more difficult.
