doesn't that explain this completely?** Mitt wants to look "tough on terror" and now he can point solidly to some infringement that he initiated while Governor of Massachusetts.
woo hoo.
** Beloved informs me that this page can't be visited without logging in - for those who aren't up for that .... our governor, Mitt Romney, has instituted bag searches on our subway system. For now, it's a quick swab (looking for explosives), and the ability to do a full "open up your bag" search upon "probable cause."
he said this was not related to a specific threat against the Boston subway system (the T), but rather upon the court decision stating that New York's similar process was a-ok. |
