Like I said before, the kidlets have the day off today (Good Friday). I am taking the day off, too. I don't have classes on Fridays, but I usually try (cough cough) to get reading done for the next week.
Not today. I brought some "catch up" reading home for International Law, but since I bought 3 novels yesterday, I somehow doubt it's gonna happen.
The funny thing is - I don't have much to do.
My IP class is canceled all next week, because the prof. (one of my faves from all of law school) is going to a conference. We're making the days up later in the quarter, so there will come a time where I have extra reading to do, but I can't make up for it now. I'm not good at reading way ahead. I forget things.
No IP this week means that I have 2 classes on M/W, and there are 5 hours between them. The first one's at Noon. I have one class on T/Th.
I just don't NEED to work this weekend. Really, at all.
I do need to: Clean my room, work on my bar application (i.e., remember 16 years' worth of employment, create an extra 50 pages of the employment sheet, find my divorce decree so I can figure out when it was filed, when judgment was entered, and what my case # was, since I need to let the bar know that I was a party to a litigation, and try to figure out if Liberty University's "reprimands" for not dusting my dorm room count as "disciplinary action" for purposes of admittance to the Massachusetts Bar), re-read my book group book, and fill out my extension paperwork for my taxes.
Since I'm giving all the kids space from the evil presence of adults, I think I'll start today with cleaning my room.Labels: bar exam, housework, law school |
