    a docking station and .......
a new iPod! i splurged, and got myself the smaller of the iPods - the 30MB or G or whatever the heck it is. beloved inherited the mini, and we both had fun playing until all hours on Friday with our new toys. I also purchased the Bose docking station, and a new phone for the house, b/c the old one was broken b/c SOMEONE in this house has a temper, and throws phones when he/she gets mad, and that makes the buttons hard to press. (it's me. i throw the phone. but it's been a while - since I lived in Berkeley, I think.)

It is snowing this a.m. Nothing major, a "light dusting" that was supposed to be over hours ago. it's not really accumulating, but it's not ending, either.

We took the girls to the museum of science yesterday, and tried to get into the Star Wars exhibit, but it was sold out by the time we got there. beloved gets free passes from work, so we were unable to get reservations from home for the special exhibit, so we just looked at the rest of the stuff in the museum. it was a fun afternoon.

we are thinking of going over to the Frog Pond today for some ice skating. but we all have chores to do first, and we'll see if we get to have the fun. it's already 11:20, and we're still being lazy sloth-like beings, watching Meet the Press (beloved), making instant oatmeal (Thing One), working our way through a Kids Sudoku book (Thing Two), and blogging. so lets see how it goes re: the Frog Pond and skating.
