| Newsflash: Zuska stolen from the internets! |
Yeah, our modem broke. We had spotty internet service last week, and when I called, I was informed of a system-wide outage for our area (we have DSL), so when it went down this weekend, I assumed the same. But no. our modem had shorted out. After wasting 2 hours on the phone with an absolutely inept tech guy (who had to keep putting me on hold to go ask someone what to do next), I was informed that it's the modem, and they can't order me a new one until Monday (today). I know we could have run out to Radio Shack or Best Buy or something, but the tech guy said it was because of last week's outage that the modem shorted, and so I figured I could get a free one from them.
it won't be here until Friday.
And it's the girls' last week home, so I likely won't be hanging out in the library for the connectivity non-stop, so ... bye for now. |
