I have been doing the happy-dance all weekend over the fact that it was going to snow on my birthday. All. Weekend.
All weekend, Beloved has been saying, "I'll believe it when I see it" and I have been upset at his negativity.
So, this morning, it's not snowing. It's 40 degrees outside. They say that it will DEVELOP into snow, but how? The high of the day is 40, and it's 40!!! You can't have snow when it's 40. You have rain when it's 40. It's raining.
Damn.
Update: The temperature dropped, and it's snowing. It was really weird, too, to watch the change-over. It went from snain (snow/rain) to a thick wet snow, to now a normal snow with some flakes drifting around. I guess the temperature just plummeted. Huh.
