It feels so good to know that this is a 3-day weekend. I left work so utterly exhausted last night, I had a hard time walking out the door - b/c it meant I had to walk to the train. That's pretty darned exhausted. I worked HARD yesterday, and constantly.

We watched Splash with the kids last night. It was fun enough. They alluded to the fact that Tom Hanks and Daryl Hannah were having sex, but they didn't really SHOW anything, and e. turned to me and said, "what if she gets pregnant? what will it BE?" Which means she's picking up on more innuendos. Great.

    e. cooked us breakfast this a.m. Beloved relished the break. She's made pancakes before, but with a mix. Today she did them from scratch, and did all the mixing on her own (completely, we weren't even in the room), but asked for some supervision with the burner and actual cooking.

Now Beloved is getting ready to do some grocery shopping before we are faced with the possibility of ice and sleet for a couple of days. When he returns, I will go for a run, and then we're gonna watch lots and lots of football.

    j. and I really need haircuts, but I am not sure when we're going to go do that. Or if. I'm really enjoying the opportunity to be on my couch in my jammies at 12:30. I don't feel like doing otherwise right now.
